Luc Charette was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick in 1952.

Since 1980, he has been featured in more than 50 solo exhibitions,

performances, and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions.

He is interested in the workings of the Internet, media arts and webcasts.

In his multidisciplinary research, he explores real spaces (art installations),

visual spaces (images) and virtual spaces (Internet, social networks)

while being interested in the links between time, duration, language systems,

identity, representation and interactivity. ​
