Nicholas Curran (Melanson Family) is a molecular naturalist and Acadian maritime folk artist

born of Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and stolen territory of the Mi'kmaq People.

who focuses on spreading awareness of the endangered species locally

but highlights the growing global species extinction rate in multiple projects.

Much of their time is spent in community as an outreach worker,

so art is a call to their greater community and a promise to Mother Nature.
